This book is a great read and blue-print for an aspiring speaker. But What I love most about it is that truly anyone who is looking to be inspired,think creative.or get to he next level in their career can learn significant lessons form Patrick's Journey.

Patrick is Scrappy entrepreneur who never had a sense of self-entitlement.His Philosophy of "Parachuting from the top" is something I think about all the time after I read the book.He took a different approach in a crowedd environment and there are golden lessons you can apply to any business to stand out.Wheter you;re self-employed or work for large orgation.I don't want to spill the beans. but I highly recommend picking up a copy and maybe even a few if you have friends that need insoiration or are stuck in their careers

The author allows you into his personal life which shapes his story.You find yourself turning pages wanting to hear more about the next exotic the next location he is going to speak at, and suddenly you're taken back by some of the family issues that ultimately affect him personally and professionally. You find yourself rooting for Patrick like you've been traveling with him through the course of his career.

A Great Read filled withexcellent practical advice

This is wonderful personal , and compelling book.It really gives a sense of the trials and victories Patrick went through on his way to being a successful international speaker. I was unsure about the "memoir" format but it works very well.His stories and informative and touching.It's a great way to present lessons with a full, often complex story to aback them up.

The book is also filled with excellent tips on this you can do to improve your skills and strategies if you want to become a professional speaker. I've been speaking at conferences for many years and I found some great tips in this book.

Some of this are very personal and demonstrate that the author is really putting it all out there for the world to see. Overall a great read filled with excellent advice
